JenMalone will be a guest DJ for the legendary Hunnypot Radio Show; a bi-weekly, internet-based radio experience on Monday, October 8th!
Launched in November 2005, Hunnypot Radio is pure, unencumbered, freeform “edutainment” at its finest. Hunnypot Radio DJ/hosts are joined by music and entertainment industry professionals, artists and songwriters and the creative community at large to celebrate our favorite music (old and new), discuss current cultural and musical trends and share opinions on the state of the industry. Hunnypot Radio features live in-studio performances by some of the most exciting and diverse artists in music today.
The show is currently broadcast “live” every other Monday night from 7 – 10PM (PST) at The Central: S.A.P.C. in Santa Monica, then re-broadcast 24/7 throughout the week on the Hunnypot Unlimited website.
Jen will be DJ’ing alongside the one and only Hot Tub Johnnie, DJ Boom Shack, fellow guest DJ Kii Arens from La La Land and performances by New Beat Fund, Vim Furor, Dr Awkward & Barbi Crash.

IT’S NOT YOU, IT’S ME
Mule Films is in production of the independent feature, It’s Not You, It’s Me directed by Nathan Ives and starring Vivica A Fox, Ross McCall and Joelle Carter. Dave, a 30-something commitment-phobe, breaks up with the love of his life thanks to conflicting advice from his outrageous, inner voices. Under pressure, he says the only thing he can think of to soften the blow, “it’s not you, it’s me.” Unfortunately, his near perfect, now ex-girlfriend Carrie has her own inner voices, pushing her to move on with the next love of her life. Dave must come to terms with the fact that there may be some truth to his break-up line before she becomes the one that got away.

We are happy to announce a few more festival screenings for Neighbors! Last Saturday, the film screened to a packed house at the Palm Springs International Shortfest, as part of the Strangers in a Strange Land Program. The film received rave reviews and was a favorite among the festival attendees.
Coming up, Neighbors is an official selection of the Rhode Island International Film Fest, Philadelphia Independent Film Festival and the Philadelphia Q Fest.

Black & White will now be operating out of the legendary West Hollywood film studios, The Lot. We will be sharing offices with up and coming Swedish producers Glenn Lund and Nina Lund. Glenn is the producer of the Swedish feature Bekas, one of the most buzzed about films of the summer. We are happy to be in such great company!
Black & White is pleased to announce NEIGHBORS, the short film directed by Rachel Goldberg, as part of the prestigious AFI Directing Workshop for Women, will be screened at the Nashville Film Festival & Capital City Film Festival.
NEIGHBORS celebrates the beauty of unlikely friendships. When Maggie (Pan Am’s Kelli Garner), a quirky shut-in meets her feisty new neighbor, Lamay (Twilight’s Edi Gatheig), a transgendered woman in an abusive relationship, the two begin a strange friendship that allows them both to break free.

MTV’s new scripted show I Just Want My Pants Back finally makes it’s debut this month. Variety called the series “easily the channel’s best effort since plunging into the scripted business, a smart and funny look at a group adept at orchestrating hookups but with few genuine connections.” Music Supervisor Nic Harcourt (@nicharcourt) along with coordinators JenMalone (@jenmalone666) and Eric Weiner (@thewildhoneypie) have created the perfect soundtrack for the show’s twenty-somethings living in Brooklyn as they navigate life, love, sex, career and friendships. Live At Preservation Hall: Louisiana Fairytale, the documentary of My Morning Jacket and the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz band, has announced some fall festival screenings:
October 11, Reel Music Festival, Portland, Oregon
October 17 & 20th New Orleans Film Festival
October 18, New Orleans Film Festival. Preservation Hall Creative Director Ben Jaffe will be participating in a panel discussing the intersection of music and film.
October 26th & 30th, Philadelphia Film Festival
Louisiana Fairytale, directed by renown photographer Danny Clinch, documents the collaboration between New Orleans’s legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band and American rock band My Morning Jacket, culminating in an intimate live performance in the historic Preservation Hall.
For fifty years the Preservation Hall Jazz Band has played to keep the traditions of New Orleans jazz alive, both at home and on tour around the world. Along the way, they have brought in collaborators of all musical stripes to play, honor, and reinterpret America’s first true art form.
Louisiana Fairytale documents their collaboration with American rock band My Morning Jacket, showing a legendary group of New Orleans musicians passing on traditions and inspiring a new generation. The film features an intimate performance by both bands in the French Quarter’s historic Preservation Hall.
