About JenMalone:

JenMalone began her career in the music industry working at Formula PR in NYC, representing Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Portishead, The Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, Placebo, and many more. After her experience in NYC, she moved to Boston to start her own agency, Black & White. She steadily built her business representing renowned national and international artists and labels, including The Hives, The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies, The Wildhearts, Gearhead Records, and Hydra Head Records, among many others.

Her remarkably successful run in PR led her to find a second passion in the industry – music supervision. Jen moved to Los Angeles and began working with some of the most reputable film supervisors in the field, Dave Jordan and Julia Michels. She collaborated with them on high profile, music-intensive films including Iron Man 2, When In Rome, Sex and the City 2 and  The Blind Side (2010 Best Picture Academy Award).

Most recently, JenMalone worked alongside legendary tastemaker and Music Supervisor, Nic Harcourt on two new shows for MTV.  These new scripted series include the Doug Liman production of I Just Want My Pants Back, based on the best selling novel by David Rosen and the U.S. remake of the British hit The Inbetweeners.

Through her creative work on the groundbreaking MTV series The Vice Guide to Everything, she quickly rose to the position of Music Coordinator for all of Vice’s non-MTV projects, including The Creators Project, various Vice Broadcasting System TV Shows, and the promising new global venture, Noisey, a video-driven music discovery platform, documenting the most talented emerging musicians from around the world.

In 2011, she branched out to take on noteworthy indie projects including Live At Preservation Hall: A Louisiana Fairytale, a documentary about the collaboration between visionaries My Morning Jacket and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Additionally, she music supervised the short film Neighbors, which is part of the prestigious AFI Directing Workshop for Women and competing in several film festivals.

Currently, Ms. Malone is Music Supervising the indie feature It’s Not You, It’s Me starring Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill) as well as the Swedish romantic comedy, Stockholm Love, produced by Johanna Bergenstråhle for Svensk Filmindustri and directed by Mikael Syrén.

JenMalone has a solid reputation throughout the entertainment industry as a professional with a passion for music and film, uncompromising work ethic, integrity and drive.  She is an entrepreneur who thrives on challenges and opportunities to create cutting edge business ventures with like-minded talent.
